Evan, the more MILS baseplates we have (with whatever attached – or nothing – can just be double track on a 32×32, or even single track on a 16×32), the easier and more consistent our train layouts will become. Also like the idea of gradually expanding our inventory of road plates (Tim’s style, unless other suggestions are made). We pulled off a 2-deep x 3 long table display at LVRR with minimal planning and mostly winging it, but the bigger and better we aspire to be, the more the standarized methods will come in handy.
