Hey Matt, is Evan giving up his LEGO box? It never dawned on me that it might come to this.

    Say it ain’t so, @zemata!

    Dear Cheese Czar,

Not everyone knows this, but someday, I’m going to make a lenticular SO BIG and SO AWESOME that nobody will even remember Josh’s Harry Potter/Voldy or that other guy’s Batman/Joker.

Don’t you think it would be cool to have Godzilla walking down the street of your LEGO town?

Perhaps. But I don’t understand Power Functions. 🙁

I just love your column. Ever since I started writing to it, I have not been accused of threadjacking. My life is so different now.

We aim to misbehave. Also to please. Glad we’ve come up with a solution for your chronic threadjacking. One thread to rule them all!

So here is my question, did you ever think about eBay Global shipping? If I have to send a five pound package to Australia or Germany or Malaysia, the buyer only pays about $7 shipping because I only have to send it to Kentucky and eBay handles the rest. But if I were to send the same package to Alaska its more like $54. Does that seem fair to Fairbanks?

It has come to my attention only recently. I bought a bunch of eBay auctions from a guy in the UK, because I wanted his Blacktron minifigs and he said he’d combine shipping. Then, after the 7 auctions were won, I asked for the combined shipping invoice, and he said eBay wasn’t allowing him to do that because of their Global Shipping policies. Thus, I was left with a conundrum – to pay something like £10 to ship items that I won for £0.99 (he had a couple CMFs nobody else bid on, and I figured they’d be negligible additions to the weight of the overall package), or to have him give me bad feedback. Luckily, he agreed to do a partial refund, since neither of us understood the policy, but still – caveat emptor! Fairbanks is getting the shaft, it would seem, as did I.

    Unfinished

    ¿que?
