It does not have to be a circle, I just wanted to demonstrate a closed loop. A track could wind through a town or city populated with buildings, a giant rotating arm would need a big open area. For some applications, this sort of track could prove to be cheaper and more interesting than “real” monorail. Although I agree, its not a priority, I’ll be working on it.
