I told you they would not let me buy them! and i can now effectively fit 169 2×4 bricks in the cup without breaking it or getting told i cant do that. So the math works out to about $65 per case of the 2×4 bricks if you use the method i went by.

Yep, you were in the vanguard on that. Unfortunately, one now needs to spend 30+ minutes filling 5 PAB cups when I used to be able to walk in, ask for a case, and walk out in less than 5 minutes. Not that I would ever spend only 5 minutes in a Lego Store. But I don’t like to waste time packing cups if I don’t have to. I guess the upside is that the time spent pays off in less $$$ spend ($65 per case versus $100 per case – that’s real money).
