We’ve got a bathtub full of 2×4 brick.
When we were at philly brickfest, the TFOLs, colonial LUG, build a flyers jersey out of bricks so that the public could stand behind it and take their picture with it. It looked great. I think we should do a pgh team. Which one? I wouldn’t think it would really matter if the sport was in season or not around pittsburgh. I already have a good template for the pens logo:
Yeah! I would vote for a Pens one.
Unless we can figure out how to do Polamalu and give it hair 🙂
Thinking from a “how much brick would it take?” standpoint, the Pirates or Steelers would be easiest because of the short sleeves. Hockey has longer sleeves so it would take more. Lots more Steelers fans than anything else, so if you are looking to get the public involved and have pictures taken, the Steelers would, in my opinion, be the best bet.

But seriously, whatever we do, I’m only on board if we use Bright Light Orange (i.e. – Burgh “gold”) instead of pukey, poor quality control Yellow.
So we are using prison rules, huh? Ok, my vote goes to the Pittsburgh Maulers (Purple, Renaissance Red, Gray, and White).
