Has anyone else bought BrickHeadz or tried to MOC them? Since they’re only for sale from Lego directly, I decided to use the opportunity to experiment on my own. Brickset also had a good article “The anatomy of a BrickHeadz” (https://brickset.com/article/26620/the-anatomy-of-a-brickheadz).

The core is really simple to build, but you need 14 of part 22885 (brick modified 1 x 2 x 1 2/3 with Studs on 1 Side), so I BrickLinked a bunch. I built what I like to call my “Test Dummy” as a reference model and helped my son Joshua build and tweak a Captain Rex.

Other people have done a good job of mocking brickheadz.

I got a good amount of them through LUGbulk coming so I plan on trying my hand at them after the shipment gets here.
