My friend Randy and his wife Elizabeth have four kids. Randy’s mom is big into sewing n whatnot, so she makes Halloween costumes on a theme every year and for me n Susie, this is our fifth year of being a part of it. This year’s theme was The Lego Movie. Our costumes should be easy for everybody to figure out.
Randy had a hard time seeing through his Vitruvius glasses, so he didn’t wear them most of the night, and his costume was frequently misinterpreted. Cue the Homestarrunner characters:
“Hey Wandy, I really like your Moses costume, that’s gweeeeeat!”
“For the last freakin’ time! I’m not Moses, I’m not Gandalf, I’m not Dumbledore, and I’m not a hippie wizard! I’m Carmen-freakin’-San — I mean, I’m Vitruvius! Like, from The Lego Movie.”I also happened to be in an excellent mood to look mean that evening!
