how to restore or whiten yellowed lego bricks

I’ve talked with a few of you about what I did to whiten my white LEGO bricks.  It works for any colored bricks as well.  Basically pour hydrogen peroxide into a clear container, add some oxyclean and let it set in the sun for hours.  That’s it.  here’s the full post from my experience –

I tried with limited success. It be never seemed to bring back the full color, but I wasn’t using very powerful bulbs.

I have seen on instagram a few people I follow use a hydrogen Peroxide treatment and a UV Black light. This has worked for them but is very time sensitive. One person left his soak for a bit too long and ended up with an almost milky white color.

Yeah, I worries about that. I saw Brick Tsar ruin a full load of clear bricks. My results were extremely good. Whitened yellow whites and significantly brightened a few severally yellow greys.

I was wondering how many times you can reuse the peroxide. Anyone know?

I did not use the oxyclean as in @joshhall blog, but what I read, this only accelerates the chemical reaction. I would also recommend rubber gloves and a ladle or something similar to scoop and flip.
