So… who’s been to which stores? I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve gotten around a bit…

– King of Prussia, PA (Philly)
– Cleveland, OH (Beachwood)
– Columbus, OH (Easton)
– Cincinnati, OH (Kenwood)
– Denver, CO (Lakewood / Colorado Mills)
– Victor, NY (Rochester)
– Ontario, CA(lifornia)
– LEGOLAND California (that counts, right?)
– Las Vegas, NV (Fashion Show)
– Houston, TX (The Woodlands)
– Portland, OR (Tigard / Washington Square)

EDIT: I’d forgotten about the LEGO store I visited in an outlet/resort mall near Nagano, Japan in 2007. It apparently isn’t an “official” LEGO Store, though, b/c it’s not listed on the LEGO website… so I dunno if it counts. Was still awesome, though, and where I got my Leg Godt Surfing shirt.

Incidentally, that website would be MUCH more useful if they listed the cities (well, the major metropolitan areas + specific towns) instead of the names of the malls.

I’ve been to the one in downtown disney, baltimore, downtown chicago, king of prussia, and christiana mall near wilmington, DE. I think that’s it…They’re all pretty much the same, except for Disney.

I should mention I try to make it a point to go to every store I’m in a 20 mile radius of whenever I travel… just because. Josh is right, they’re all pretty much exactly the same, so I have no idea why I keep doing it.

oh yeah! I’ve been to the rockefeller one too! They’ve got a cool wall installation of pieces, reminiscent of the google logo.

It’s the principle of the matter. Except now that Exo-Suits are involved – every store is a chance to snag one more (or two, if you’re in Houston and have the guts…)

But yea, Julia has me beat… so far. I have two Seattle stores I can hit next time I’m visiting family, plus one in BC if I parlay a work side trip, and two in Montreal next time I find myself in that town for work….

Can’t beat that; during my traveling days, there were no LEGO stores (or bricklink or the internet,) so you had to get everything by calling Shop at Home in Connecticut. 😛

Presuming LEGOLAND counts as a “Store”, I have hit 11 Lego Stores: (1) Woodbridge, VA (Potomac Mills); (2) Tysons Corner, VA; (3) Orlando (Downtown Disney); (4) Minneapolis (Mall of America); (5) Raleigh, NC; (6) San Diego, CA; (7) Philadelphia (King of Prussia); (8) Cleveland; (9) Cincinnati; (10) LEGOLAND California; and (11) Chicago (Water Tower Place). Quickly checking the Lego Store list online… Yes, 11 stores.

I think Julia wins because she has International Lego stores on her list.

I’ve only visited one, but it was near where I worked, so I’ve been there at least over twenty times! Last time though, the giant lagoon monster was under construction.

Downtown Disney, Orlando

I’ve also been to the unofficial plastic brick museum, which even though it’s not a official Lego store, I did purchase lego items from them!
