I saw this LEGO contest for a Palace Cinema modular set which required building a 16 x 16 vignette of a movie scene including at least one minifig from the collectible series.  I went crazy creating an entry and then discovered, after I was too far into it to quit, that the movie had to be at least 20 years old.   Well I wanted to do this for some time anyway so I just needed a little incentive.   My ineligible entry for the contest is below.  🙂

Also saw that contest; just haven’t had the time / inspiration to come up with something.  Nice work, though the hair seems a bit… short…

Yes, the minotaur, good eye Josh!  The head is over the fireplace and the weapon and rest of the body parts are used on various characters. 🙂

Yes Matt, the hair is short … I am thinking about using this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=towel&colorID=3

Trying to take the photo made me eager to get a light box like the one yinz used at the Cranberry library.  That thing was sweet!

yup.  the moon is an 8×8 round tile – http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6177

here’s another view so you can see E.T.
