Hi! I have “played” with Lego for a very long time, with a “dark period” from the late 90’s until I bought a Wall-E on Clearance in 2016. I, or I should say my mom, carted the totes of Lego from NY to FL to PA before coming to a rest in my Coraopolis basement. I used to build houses and towns, as most of my bricks were Classic/Basic. I have some Castle, Space, and City sets from the 80’s.
I had thought my sons would follow in my Lego footsteps. Nope. As they are getting older, I’ve gone back to the brick.
Welcome, Rachel. I found that with my kids (all boys, late teens and early 20s) my oldest still likes to build sets and my middle one likes events and conventions, but the youngest is fairly blah on Lego. Maybe he’ll come around someday. 😀
Welcome Rachel! I loved the classic sets from the 80s. Castle being one of my all-time favorites.
