      Hi there,

Great to meet so many of you at the meeting this past Saturday! As a new member I’m still learning the flow of what the calendar looks like, and wanted to see if anyone knows the date of the next AFOL Day at TLS at Ross Park Mall? Trying to save up and also keep my eyes on sets slated for retirement this year.

      Thanks,
      Alan

Ugh, the website ate my post again, I think it didn’t like my links, even though they were just to other threads on this site. You’ll have to search around for older discussions on the topic, which are not consolidated in one thread.

The short version is, unless things have changed (in which case I missed it), AFOL Days is still on indefinite hiatus, and TLG has given us no real information on when/if it will return, or how much it will still resemble the event that it used to be. I would not be making plans around it. If there’s new information, the best person to ask about it is our LAN Ambassador, @watchwmarcella Marcella. I am not finding anything on Google either, and as far as I can tell, Lego is attempting to rebrand AFOL Day as an event specific to the Lego House in Billund.

In addition to (old) dark gray, that would have been another good idea for the Q3 gravesite build challenge. RIP AFOL Day

OH! @knb112 we didn’t mention this at all in the meeting. Whoops. Jordan hinted at this while we were in the Ambassador meetings at Brickfair. He said that he would love for AFOL days to come back, unfortunately due to the differences in how stores were doing their “AFOL” day celebrations and the limitations of a lot of stores, they will not be coming back for the foreseeable future. He said that he wants to bring them back, and it is on his list of requests from the AFOL community. But he said until he can make the celebrations fun and great across the board to truly celebrate AFOL’s instead of it being “Just a discount day” like it appeared to be, these will not be coming back.

              Thanks @willmcdine for adding that.
