It seems unusual that someone with this name would have LEGO.

      There are tens of us!

I already know I have an addiction to buying lego. Especially Lego Minifigures. Did you really need to package my purchase in a pill bottle BrickLink seller??? 😂

I did not recognize the similarity between these two classic works of art until today. @tfdesigns, can you weigh in on this?

They walk alike, they talk alike, sometimes they even build alike.

Real things sometimes cost less than the LEGO version. Here is a good example:

Thanks for catching it. I watched a lot of Nick at nite and such when I was a kid.

This looks like a case of “if we list it as free, people won’t be committed; if we list it for a ‘steal’ of a price, we’ll only get serious inquiries.”

Moving a baby grand is no joke… LEGO versions (depending on scale) are way easier. Just don’t drop them in a snowy parking lot like Doug’s castle, circa January 2014…

I have experienced that phenomenon many times. But yeah, you need to hire three guys the size of Cam Heyward to move a baby grand.

This is an apples and oranges comparison to me: my Lego piano was bought new, and this piano is used. I think more likely it’s a case of “this piano is in crap condition”, although I am aware that piano prices have plunged in the past 25 years.

I worked as a piano salesman for Trombino’s in the late 90’s, and we had people coming in every week trying to sell us their old piano, and they always expected it to be super valuable, when in fact it was not, and they were always disappointed that we had zero interest. The first thing we asked was when was the last time it had been tuned; if it hasn’t been tuned in twenty years, it isn’t worth much. We didn’t even look at them, and I think I saw them take just one in trade in the year I was there (and I don’t know how that got set up).

Also, we told new piano buyers to not put it in direct sunlight, or over a heat vent, or even against an outside wall, so the photo and the phrase “sun-weathered on one side” is setting off serious alarm bells.

That is bizarre. They are wasting space in the package, and I don’t see how a container like that is offering much protection – the minifig is just gonna bonk around in there the entire trip. Maybe if the delivery truck accidentally drives into a river, your minifig will float gently to safety.

dang it, why did you write that? now I have to clean the coffee off my laptop screen!

anyway, I’d wager that the alarm bell piano is going to be much better to play than the LEGO wannabe piano … unless you need it for your side hustle on subway platforms

Here’s another track find from Marketplace, not sure if the price is good or not:

Lego curved, straight and switch track lot.

I would totally pay $50 for life size models of Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps!

Might be a steal for someone, the Hogwarts Castle (450 retail) for 100 bucks, double check if it’s Lego!

It looks like the real deal (I’m comparing with my own right here). Can not see in the picture with the bin if the 4 minifigs are there (the Four Founders figs are probably worth more than the rest of the bricks). But even without the figs, $100 for the parts would be an ok deal.

$230 and the dude will ship it to me. I’ll validate it all when it comes in and likely look for the lug to reimburse.
