Something like Archipelago is still definitely an easier concept. But I think either are doable. All just depends on people’s interest.

It sounds like the design work is pretty much done, but they are looking for help with building up the infrastructure (So basically, I think Mike would send you some studio files and you would mostly follow a standard structural design, and maybe just add little details here and there)

I think there is a decent chance I will be going to BITS again this year, but I probably won’t know for sure for awhile.

At BFVA I was staying at a friend’s house and we often just went back there to hang out and play games, as it was a nicer environment than the convention hall. But Bricks in the Six is definitely a nicer (and smaller) venue than BFVA, more conducive to hanging out and playing games.
Yeah, you need a passport. I don’t think it’s particularly difficult to renew, but I think it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks.
If they are having a number of lugs and people display in there then I can not imagine it wouldn’t get dark.
Exactly what lights they leave on has never been real standard at BFVA, but they will try to have it be dark around all the builds as much as possible.I think I’ll just come around 1.
Though the idea of coming at 12:45 and starting a really long game right before Tim gets there is enticing…I still have mine, but don’t tend to use it. But more importantly: are you going to Bricks Cascade this year?

I will be at BFVA, but probably won’t have anything to display with SteelCity. (I sadly don’t find time to build much anymore, and any small things I do build will probably end up in RebelLUG). Unless we do some sort of collab. Then I’d probably try to do some small contribution.
