A couple of people have asked for a bit more info on the cost of the eBay items. So basically the prices for the eBay items are about 10% off of the listing price and also no shipping charges. This is because I would not have to pay the eBay platform fees.

There are some items where I have free shipping and in those cases it would be even cheaper so please just reach out for a price. Also certain items may be priced a little higher for a variety of reasons, like listings I haven’t had a chance to update, so feel free to message me with an offer.

Thanks for the comment. I hadn’t done a deep analysis yet on the time involved so I definitely appreciate the info about what you’ve seen things take timewise. Having it be a wash or possibly a loss has been something I’ve considered. There is definitely going to be a learning curve for this and trying to find ways to make it more efficient is a large part of my interest in the problem.

New member here and new to BrickFair…the website shows a fair in Fredericksburg on March 29-30, 2025. So is it that there also another one at Dulles on the dates you mentioned?

Does anyone go to the Fredericksburg one?

Yeah, they originally told me they were going to do the Mickey mouse builds on the the 9th instead of the Thanksgiving build here:

However since they actually ended up doing the Mickey mouse one yesterday, I’m not sure if they’re going to do anything on the 9th. It doesn’t seem like the most well-planned thing so I don’t know how confident I would be they would do anything on the 9th.

UPDATE: I hung around the store a little longer shopping, and they told me they were going to get it set up now. So it looks like it is happening now
