I can’t find the Yard Sale information on the BrickFair site, does anybody know where it is? I can’t see where to sign up either, which means there may have been a deadline that has passed, or it is full. Unless the rules have changed, though, it’s a flat rate per table, and everything you have for sale has to fit on the table.
You can find the information if you go to the schedule and click on ‘Yard Sale Thursday’. It is $10 for 1/2 table and $20 for whole table. You cannot sign up until after you have checked in to the event.
I was thinking about bringing some stuff for the yard sale. Mostly sets I have sitting around that I probably will never build. I have never done this before – Is this a good place to sell them? I’m not motivated enough to list them on ebay or bricklink.
Hello All! — Just wanted to let you all know that I will probably have some extra space on my table if anyone needs it. I have a whole 8ft table but it turns out my MOC isn’t that big. I’ll have a couple feet to spare. I am going to bring some extra stuff to fill in but if anyone needs space for their MOC maybe we can work something out when we set up. Look forward to seeing you all there!

Called the reservation hotline, looked me up, no active reservation. Then tried to send me to some vacation giveaway thing.
I got close to the same runaround. Only they took my cc in for before they said ‘we don’t seem to have the room you reserved’ and ‘could I put you on hold’. Then I got the vacation guy. Boy did he get a piece of my mind!🤪. I did call back and got talked to someone else who said everything was good and sent me my confirmation number. Here’s hoping it all works out.

People do sometimes break down larger displays into smaller registrations, either because they want the individual MOC cards, or because they want a specific part of it to be eligible for a specific trophy consideration.[/quote]
Sorry for the confusion. Yes my display is my MOC but it has some components that are not original. I guess if I am just looking for MOC cards, I can register the whole display. I don’t think that any of my original creations are going to be up for awards.
A couple of questions from a newbie –
I see on the website that there are a lot of games and such to participate in. Is it important to sign up for those in advance (now?) or can it wait until we get there. I don’t want to miss out on the fun.
How many people here are staying at the Holiday Inn (The Brickfair hotel)? I signed up and guess I am supposed to receive an email at some point. A little concerned that I might miss the email if it falls in my spam. Can someone post a heads up if they received the email from Holiday Inn to pay for their room?
My MOC is part of a town display that I am creating. Should I register just my MOC or the whole creation or both?
Looking forward to the event. Now to get my creation finished….
Tim – My husband and I are also registered and planning to attend. (Ann Flavin and James Flavin). I am bringing a display, James is just coming along. This is my first time at BrickFair and I am not sure what to do with the custom printed tile. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
I could also downsize if it became necessary. I haven’t finalized my MOC yet so I could probably adjust it to space allocated to me (maybe not less than 1/2 a 8’ table). This is my first time at brickfair so I’m not sure what I’m getting into. My husband is coming but not displaying anything.
Am I correct in noting that the tables are 2.5’ feet in depth?
