Hello Megan, I am interested in a couple of your sets. I sent you a PM.
Thanks,
ThomasI have not sold it yet! Thank you. Haven’t put much effort in yet, would prefer to sell it to someone in the LUG if possible š
I had a really crappy one lying around, not a good one. No toddler to blame ā think I just bought a used set cheap(ish) for the parts.
I do have a sealed copy, though, actuallyā¦
Hey Matt, Iām not picky on condition. Do you still have it?
I might have a Pet Shop box I could part with. Iāll try to remember to check tonight!
Hey Matt, were you able to check on that Pet Shop box?
I have a Corner Garage box, but it is by NO MEANS in a collectorās condition. Youāre welcome to it if youāre interested and of course I can send you pics⦠my 3 year old seems to think that my sets are his. Especially any that have any kind of vehicles in them and when he saw the tow truck, he felt the need to examine the box for other āthings that goā!
I do have decent Police Station and Parisian Restaurant that are in a better condition that I can keep for you if you wanted them in the future. Just let me know!
Sending PM!
Thank you all! Will send PMs
Funny enough, I do have a diner box.

I forgot that they had those unique unlicensed themes at that time, that’s a great point. Monster Fighters came out around that time too iirc
Iād describe myself as more of a fan of mid 2000s sets, 2006-2014 or so. Not only were those some of my younger years (fond memories, etc.), but the quantity and price of sets was less so it was more reasonable to collect.
I totally vibe with that. I think 2009 is my favorite year of LEGO. I have a bunch of the Clone Wars era Star Wars sets and the majority of the Indiana Jones sets (stoked about its rumored return this year). And I was also into a bunch of the unlicensed stuff from the time like Space Police III, Pirates, and Power Miners. I think I missed you at the discord night, would have loved to chat about it. Ah, nostalgiaā¦(sorry if Iām making anyone feel old right now).
Anyway, welcome to the LUG!
What about you Dan, do you have a favorite theme or type of set?
Nice to meet you all! Yep, I’m a Harry Potter fan. Need to get a better profile pic up but that one worked for the time being.
For building, I’m into just about anything. Favorites are Harry Potter, Modulars/Creator Expert, any anything licensed (Star Wars, Marvel, Lord of the Rings, Batman, Indiana Jones). Classics and/or movie collections basically.

Not only were those some of my younger years (fond memories, etc.), but the quantity and price of sets was less so it was more reasonable to collect. I do still greatly enjoy today’s sets but they’ve gotten so expensive and detail oriented it’s a bit much for me sometimes.
Absolutely that was awesome. Will be back next week! Looking forward to getting to know everyone better
I’d like to see how the availability of 4 $600+ sets does to sales – 75192 Millennium Falcon, Colosseum, Titanic, and now ATAT. (although to be fair I think 75192 is on the way out soon)
Out of these, I’d say the Falcon/75192 is the most preferable, being the first of the largest sets while also being Star Wars.
Of the other 3, I have to say my interest has waned on the Colosseum. When it came out, I thought for sure I would buy someday. But now that there’s the Titanic and ATAT I’d definitely rather have either of those.
Yep – that’s the reasoning I’ve followed before as well (as for not posting direct links or pictures)
Awesome thank you. My first name is Thomas, wasn’t sure what would show up between by username and name that I inputted on the signup. Nice to meet you!
I’ll check those out, I was just looking through a couple events. Thanks for mentioning them here.
