Kids, don’t leave alkaline batteries in devices when they are not in use!

It took me almost an hour to open this 9V battery box from a 1996 set without damaging it (too much.) The next step is to clean it and get it working. 🤪

Hey, the batteries only have an install by date, they don’t say anything about uninstalling! 😜

Well, I still have the top three feet of the tree … and I also saved the five foot long double train tunnel that went through the base of the tree.

I mean…tunnels are cool…Don’t think we have any of those…which we had an engineer of some sort to work on finish a tunnel.

                          Which engineer?

Besides, didn’t you see the award I won at Q3?!? It’s a work in progress!

I read the emails – which arrive without attachments – earlier today and was trying to figure out what was going on here. Now that I’m on the website and can see everything… I’m still trying to figure out what is going on here. So what’s the new project exactly? Also, Matt’s used that Arrested Development clip before.

I can’t jeopardize my brand like that, sorry.

Of course. What good are inside jokes if you don’t beat ’em like a dead horse? (see what I did there?)

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that it’s a life-size Christmas tree farm.

Greg’s teaser pic looks vaguely like the Eiffel Tower. Given the Christmas tree my money is on a winter Eiffel Tower topped by a Christmas tree!

I think I’m in the wrong hobby. After laying down four large gray baseplates, I am already $60 into a MOC. No one is ever going to “play” with the thing that I eventually make and it will take weeks to complete.

On the other hand this Imaginarium train looks awesome already, could take 20 minutes tops to reassemble, has lots of playability and includes its own table for $50!!!

Greg, you’re starting to sound like my dad, lamenting the endless property management (mowing, gravel driveway grading, poison ivy / vine removal, tree / limb trimming), repair, and improvement projects at my folks’ 9-acre property… if only there were an easier way!

My kids loved Imaginarium and other compatible wooden trains. They are really fun to play with.

Interesting similarity. Anyway, several stores have this display … I wish I knew how I could buy one of these after they are “sent back to corporate.”

Where the tree was built, it was hard to get far enough away to get the entire tree (and star) in one photo.

Juliette asked for a status update on the tree today…I told her the status is likely disassembled, for the most part. Confirmed?
