Very cool!
Came across this while looking for something: https://triblive.com/community/shaler/new-lego-display-at-shaler-library-/db0c7a66-8b5c-4b2d-9cc3-6c2e35fa3f63/
Nice job @cybladez101!
Wow, so I had no idea that they made an article about this! Thanks, @knb112! How did you even find this? Wish they would have let me know about it!
“legos” arrrggghh!
Exact same thought, lol!
I won’t be able to make it to the teardown tomorrow. Would someone be able to bring my two small builds to Brickfest?
Nice work, Marcella! It looks great! 😁
I’m always down for a library display! That’s for looking into this @watchwmarcella!
For clarification, any specific scale or limitations?
Let’s go with a max size of 4 32×32 baseplates. I will add it to the initial post above.
Car check, bus check, plane…well it’s got wheels check, tank…yep check, Mars rover…you bet, motorized unicycle…check, check and check. Real interested in where this one goes…
I used “could” for this exact reason. The only one I would shy away from is the plane. That would be better for a Custom Airshow build challenge (maybe sometime soon!). Now a jet powered car? Check! A car that transforms into a plane?? Check+!
@joshhall Traveling Car Show display would be awesome!
I would be able to provide some Star Wars sets and MOCs for display including my full-size light saber. I have the midsized Falcon that I have been meaning to build. If we aren’t getting the UCS, I can include that. Not sure about being able to staff though.
Welcome Jacob!
Thanks, Krista! Looking forward to the next library event!
I’m able to help move the displays whenever we plan to do it.
Very nice! 😁
Louise the chicken is finished!
That looks great, Renée!
Here’s what I came up with for my book…

I’m actually doing my first book which is “The Adventures of Michael John: X Marks the Spot”
If there is room I can also include my “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” display.
Yup, Tuesday evening works for me, too.
If you’re at set-up for Northland, I can pull a couple of them apart for you to take more detailed pics that would help you figure out how to build them if you’d like.
Thanks, Bob! That sounds good! I should be there for set up so that works!
Here’s what I have in mind for this display. I think it fits the Literature Display theme pretty well. If we’re tight on space, I could easily loose the Marauder’s Map, or maybe open it up and set it behind as a backdrop.
@rcgrier3406 this looks awesome! My daughter asked for the Hogwarts Icons set for Christmas however, we are getting her some other sets instead. Do you have instructions for any of these items? I would like to make something similar for her.
Hi Dan! I’m interested in the Technic Battle Droid and the Landspeeder. I’ll send a direct message to you.
I’d be interested but that weekend would be tough…
Not a Walmart deal but for the Harry Potter fans out there lego.com has the large Harry and Hermione set (76393) 40% off! https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/harry-potter-hermione-granger-76393
Could be good for MOCs of other characters…
Thanks, Krista! I cant wait to start working on these!
Yep, I was only able to order for pickup at the Butler store. Great deal!
Wow, I feel like my two hobby worlds are colliding and it’s awesome! I published two children’s picture books this year and have one more on the way this week! You can see the first book here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Michael-John-Marks-Spot/dp/B09TZBPXS8/ref=monarch_sidesheet?ref=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=d0fd1637-6e2c-4944-88fb-7ae1d1f4894a
I’ve attached the second book cover here. I would love to make Lego MOCs for them!
