Fixed the WordPress login, I think. It was a plugin I didn’t bring over.
Yep! The SSO for WordPress.com worked fine for login this evening.

The WordPress.com login option is completely gone. I ended up having to do a password reset like I suspected and set a unique password for the SCL website. Not a big deal, and for the improvement of the site, it’s definitely worth it.
One other issue is some of the font colors in light mode are difficult to read (Black on Dark Grey). Turning to dark mode seems to work decently for that.
Also, I approve the reimbursement for the migration.
I wonder if it’s because your account was synced with steelcitylug.com and not the new(tempoary) url. it should work once the cut over happens.
The Login with WordPress.com button isn’t even showing — ie, I’ve never created a password on the steelcitylug.com WordPress — it’s always used WordPress SSO to log in.
Did you try using your WordPress login on the site and it didn’t work, or did you not try because you didn’t see the button your used to seeing?
I did for giggles — I didn’t expect that to work as the password should never have synced between wordpress.com and steelcitylug.com, but stranger things have happened, so I figured why not try it — no dice!
I’m guessing after the cut over if I do a password reset with the same email address it will just reassociate my account and have a specific steelcitylug.com password.
So on the current site, I login with my wordpress.com account (I don’t have a unique login to the current site). I don’t see that option on the login page of the new site. Is that a setting that needs changed, or did we lose that functionality?

Is that a requirement of the build challenge? Or just something that’s an option?
That was an interesting survey. I’m curious how they analyze these types of questions, I’m guessing some sort of ranking algorithm. Sorry, that’s just the nerdy side of me wondering that.
I’ll be on Discord today for the meeting. Wanted to share the creation I made for the build challenge. Christmas In The Cathedral is a habitat of the common room at the Cathedral of Learning at Christmas time.
When we were talking about this at Q1, the intent was for new forum threads to send a notification to a Discord channel, to remind people to check the forums.
Can anyone else think of anyone needing a badge?
