Where did the big bin of MILS bricks end up after Trolley teardown, and can we bring it to CSC? I’m hoping to build/rebuild a couple track modules during my shift.
Josie has a medieval village covering several 32×32 plates she wants to bring, we’ll get them on the sheet later today.
I don’t see any of @timf ‘s stuff on the list, Tim are you not bringing your buildings this year?
Seems like shift sign-ups are dropping the decimal part when displaying shift values. Locomotion shows the half-day shifts as worth “0 cups”, but Bob said they’re 0.5 cups and that shows in the total of cups that will be earned anytime there’s an odd number of half-day sign-ups, so it seems like it’s just a display bug.
@joshhall autocomplete for mentions doesn’t seem to be working (edit: typing @ with a complete username still seems to mention, it’s just the nice user search part that doesn’t show up)
Also the gallery for Winter Trolley won’t load, could be a casualty of the migration.
The “Forum” link has disappeared from the top bar and site menu, along with the login/profile widget.
Also mentions in posts seem to not be working, I don’t get a completion menu like I used to after typing “@josh”.
So on the current site, I login with my wordpress.com account (I don’t have a unique login to the current site). I don’t see that option on the login page of the new site. Is that a setting that needs changed, or did we lose that functionality?
Did you try using your WordPress login on the site and it didn’t work, or did you not try because you didn’t see the button your used to seeing?
1: I can’t open the admin panel (“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”) but that might be working as intended.
2: Feature request, I added a test display to the Zelie queue with start and end dates that fit between the active end and the next up start, but still got added to the end of the list. Can new displays that fit between existing ones get added mid-queue?
I think the LUG stanchions are still at Josh’s house, we used the museum’s stanchions for Fall Trolley.
I don’t think we can make the bridge work with normal tables unless we want to try using a lot of Technic pins to hold it all together. You just end up with too many big gaps trying to make 30-inch tables work with a 40-inch span (not to mention those gaps would increase our footprint).
We unloaded from TUBS this morning. Everything is more or less right where it was after Fall Trolley, except that the tables are in front and the MILS crates are behind so you can set up without unpacking the whole room first.
* We’ve always left a 5″ space open between the MILS bases and the edge of the tables. To make the bridge fit, I’m right to the edge of the tables on the top and bottom sides in this layout.
Assuming the tables are exactly 30″ deep and there’s no gaps between them, this will actually have a roughly 2-stud overhang on each end, since 32×32 plates are oh-so-slightly larger than 10″x10″.
Dunno why but I can’t see the cup I earned from Norwin Library in my history. I’m pretty sure the actual cup is in my total because there’s a warning on the page that my earned totals don’t match the stored numbers, but Norwin just isn’t in the event list.
