Currently we have (5) unclaimed 32×32 MOC spaces remaining, namely #6, 13, 14, 19 and 20.
@rcgrier3406 I will take spaces #13, #14, #19, and #20. I will bring my yellow apartment building for spaces #13 and #14 and I have a small office building which will cover #19 and #20. Thank you!
@playingwithechoes Feel better soon! We will miss you.
Do we still have enough trains to run?
inverted aquarium
That is a very interesting idea. Each aquarium area could be a separate “habitat”. The question then becomes – to how many empty (clean) aquariums do we have access?
Tim are you not bringing your buildings this year?
@gabevistica I was waiting to allow everyone else to chime in. I can fill in unclaimed space as needed with some buildings. 🙂
It’s always interesting to look at the year end report. Thank you for posting this, Josh. I like the Personality Awards. 😀
@rcgrier3406 Loan in for Steel City LUG is at 1:00 pm Friday. The CSC is asking everyone to be done by 7:00 pm.
FYI, Tom also gets another mention on TBB (and a link back to the original post) in the one Holiday Calendar day: https://www.brothers-brick.com/2025/12/15/2025-lego-advent-calendar-spoilers-day-15-feature/
Note for set up: The CSC has asked all participants to bring their own table coverings if possible (they rent and the cost has greatly increased). So I will bring my dark green tablecloths and we can also lay out the Steel City LUG black banners. I have one of the banners.
@rcgrier3406 @joshhall Yes, I can take stanchions (and some other stuff as needed) from the Museum for Locomotion weekend.
I received official notification from the Science Center that we have the same layout space as last year – “Steel City LUG 12’ x 20’ twelve 6 ft tables”.
We could still incorporate the bridge (maybe along the front or back lengths) but that would eat up a fair amount of display space.
I’m going to bring the Fayette County Courthouse. It is 2 baseplates square.
I went ahead and asked Nicole at the CSC whether any additional space might be available.
We can ask for more space. Not certain we would get it. Let’s discuss next weekend. 🙂
@randomdan that is AMAZING and WONDERFUL news! Sending you wishes for a speedy recovery and hope to see you soon (once you are able to be out in public).
We can make it two videos from the LUG: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUgsYelZ7Fg
When are you planning to be there with the table coverings?
@mrmain18 I am planing on being there tomorrow morning around 9:30-10:00 am.
@bengood921 thank you for all your work on the Layouts. 🙂
Started work on a Nuclear Waste Storage Facility on MILS plates as another one of my digital backdrops.
Nicely done. Very industrial. Watch out for those radioactive spiders!
Wow those are some nice vintage sets, especially the Police Station and the gas Station (both of which I have from my childhood). I also have 445 Police Units, which was one of my first sets. Nice finds.
OK, let’s do Saturday, August 23 for tear down. The Library opens at 10:00 am.
I’m wondering about building a particular storefront for the winter show in Cranberry.
@greg, I like the way you think!
I officially registered and paid for Brick Erie today. Looking forward to showing off the expanded Hoth Base.
I think Saturday, August 23 will be the day. The Library opens at 10:00 am. Does that work for everyone?
just wait until you meet Tim from Cranberry and Tim from Cranberry!
Tim from Cranberry checking in to say “hi” to Alan! Welcome to the group. 😀
I had no idea there was an Air Force Museum in Ohio
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio – https://www.wpafb.af.mil/
On topic – I have finished the towers of the great hall and will have the new roof completed tonight. I will still need to install the lights but am hoping to have that all done by tomorrow night. Then it is just finishing the details and packing everything up for next week!
Very well done! I love the “construction” aspect. It’s like the Fabuland characters are building their own “Miniland”.
