Those Forestmen sets are awesome. Looking at BrickLink, 6066 complete goes for around $250. Way too expensive for me and I donโt want to underbid you on these.
Tim, yeah I did love it as a kid! I’m absolutely open to offers, so feel free to DM me if you’re interested.
One of my few old sets that I am keeping that I still love is 6270 Forbidden Island.
That Mindstorms NXT I would be really interested in. Itโs programmable right? I have the original Lego mindstorms kit and it only has the micro one that has a few built in programs.
@argonvesher it is programmable, but obviously is a much older version. I believe this is the last version of the software:

Congrats @paulamalu, that’s awesome!
@JoshHall definitely would prefer short sleeve, but what are the colors?
Awesome, thanks everyone for the tips!
Hehe, good answer! ๐
Definitely wasn’t planning to clean anything sealed, but do you always clean even if pieces don’t appear dirty at all?
And here’s my original (which got flipped around on the fly for the display today):

You must be logged in to view attached files.Yeah, definitely not sure what to expect from BrickUniverse, but it at least seemed marketed as family friendly. I completely forgot to include the URL too: http://www.brickuniverse.org/#!colombus/kgheo.
But, I definitely don’t like the idea of missing the LUG birthday party!
Hehe, hey figured it was worth a try!
And I had to resize…

Did we ever decide if any kind of drafting is happening? I definitely enjoyed last year’s Q3 parts draft. ๐
I will be there as well! Is there a doodle we need to RSVP on?
Saturday night was a whole heck of a lot of fun and a big thank you to Josh and everyone else who participated. I’ve clearly been an AFOL all of my adult life, but not actively until now because I really never realized that there was such a large community to encourage it!
I really enjoyed the speed draft since it was both a great group activity and a very fun way to accumulate some extra parts.
I think Tim brings up some great points and LCs and committees would be a great way to distribute some of the responsibility and workload.
Personally I’m very interested in more opportunities to gain more experience and exposure to building displays and MOCs. If anyone is interested in working on some group projects where I could help contribute, I’d be very interested. I’m located in the North Hills in McCandless Twp if proximity helps.
Sounds awesome and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone! How does a speed draft work?
Dave, you do, I think you just missed Josh’s comment. ๐
Could be a cool LUG group project to start on…start with The Point and over time add on to it?
Also Ben, I had to look up GBC, and I gotta see some pictures of yours!
Ben, wow amazing timing, it would be much appreciated! If I recall, we may be neighbors since I’m in McCandless too…makes it a bit easier to replay you sometime and somehow ๐ I can wait til the Q3 meeting or we can always meetup somewhere if we’re close by.
Josh, I figured it was a pretty distinct piece since it’s a big tread (and brown).
It was very cool to see it all in action for the first time. Awesome display by Laura, along with Ben’s great additions. I liked seeing all the mods on the fly, like Josh’s playground and Dave’s Art in the Park.
Hehe, that’s awesome!
Okay cool, cause I’m looking forward to seeing my first one!
Cool, thanks Josh. So, the mystery boxes are just misc pieces from Lego to be sorted?
I’ll be available on Sunday afternoon and am looking forward to meeting some of you. I’ll update the doodle.
